Hi and welcome to Putaro Plastic Modeller! Please meet Aidil, a 10 year-old kit that first time building a gunpla, first time entering a gunpla competition (Gundam Model Kit Contest 2019 Malaysia) and he's my student. It's also his first time weathering a gunpla. This areticle is a bit late but well, better late than never.
I did teach him a bit, he's a quick learner. Aidil did learn how to build, cleaning gunpla, spray paint, weathering, chipping, using gundam marker and lots of hand painting especially for his diorama. It took him not long just few days. I did asked him to used stickers because I don't think his ready to do much effort for his first time.
The results are impressive for a first timer. I hope he will do more custom gunpla in the future.
