Hi and welcome to Putaro Plastic Modeller, I present to you my super ultra ultimate very hard work fully hand painted the Super Deformed [SD] RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam! It's been a while since I have a SD kit. Most of SD that I have previously is to customized it for sale, none of them is for me. But this time, this SD is for me. It brings me back so much memories which actually that this is my 3rd SD RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam. My first Gunpla is the same one as these one. My 2nd Gunpla is MG RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam, which for a newbie at that time, I've work very hard to finished it.

While I painted this kit, I felt so odd. I did recorded most of the process part but, I failed to make it look good. I failed in weathering it, which made it me failed badly. So, I did some more research on it, why is that my normal weathering technique failed on this kit, then I opened all my old customized kit, which I traced everything back since the beginning. I do more research on weathering SD kits in the internet, to find more info as much as I can. After a long research I realized that, its nothing have to do with my weathering gone wrong, it's because the SD RX-0 Full Armor body design.

So to solved the problem, what I did to the kit are combined both highlights black and white depending on type of surfaces and dry brushed black color more on the edges. But, I need to do it very heavy until the white surface turns dark so I can highlight it. After its all done, that kit still looks so dirty and very messy. Now the tone on this kit are deem, the clear green psycho frame were blended with the kit, so in order to restore the contrast, I need to paint the psycho frame Metallic Green. What I did is pour some of my Gundam Metallic Green Marker paint, that painted the frame with small brush and yes I did open and detached each parts and repaint it back one by one.
