--------------------------------
Are you ready? i hope that you have your gunpla in front of you to try it out!
This Tutorial will begin with 2 kit with very far in timeline when it was published. The 2001 HGUC 1/144 RGM-79 GM and the 2015 HGUC 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Revive Ver. The gap between kits are 14 years, so for some people that have old kits, this tutorial maybe could help.
This is the basic standing pose from diagonal angle view. As you can see the left Gundam looks like more to static pose or 'standby off-mode', on the other pose (right Gundam) looks more appealing, ready and alive.
These are the pose that some of us think it's right, but look closely..
Sometime our gunpla looks something a bit off when posing. Here is why.
The same thing apply when you taking picture(s) of your gunpla, it looks good if you take it the right angle to make the gunpla looks more 'not boring', and makes the pose a bit more dynamic.
Some old kit like GM can still pose and look awesome, it's a bit hard to do and takes time, but once your done, it will look awesome. If you can, try to copy the pose on the picture, maybe it can give you some new ideas.
Here is Gundam Barbatos, one of the most unique gunpla ever build, to some people it's a bit hard to pose it because we don't understand the mechanism of it's legs. On the picture, i bend a bit the legs, just to make it ready to jump. Look closely on the shoulder pad and the skirts, that will make a big difference if you got it right.
More of suggestion pose for you guys. I hope you guys get the idea of basic pose and i hope you guys learned something from this tutorial. Feel free to leave a comment below. Don't forget to like us on Facebook and follow me on Instagram. Thank you for viewing Putaro Plastic Modeller.
