VT Energy and Repair Garage (VT-131-3) Review - MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam MS Cage by Putra Shining

Hi and welcome to Putaro Plastic Modeller! This is a simple review of the 3rd-party model kit product. This is the VT Energy and Repair Garage (VT-131-3), a 60% copy-paste Bandai's MS Cage. Why 60%? Because it looks like it, but lots of things are different. Thank you for your time to read this blog.

This is the box, mine's are heavily damage but most of the items are in good condition.

Let me list the good and bad about it so you guys can decide later before you buy.

The good things about it:

1) It's Cheap!
2) The plastic surface is nice (matte)

3) Suitable for most Master Grade or any 1/100 scale

4) You can just use the base and like PG base (removing the wall)

5) This cage have for the High Grade version too!

The bad things about it:

1) Fragile, easy to brake, especially small parts

2) Not every parts fits perfectly

3) Lots of parts from the original MS Cage are not included

4) Half of the hangar are repeated. If you want anime accurate, this is not the thing

5) You cannot hang your weapons or shield

6) No action base included (that action base on the unicorn gundam is mine)

If you have any MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, yeah you should buy it. If you planning of customize and build a diorama, yes you buy it. If you want to try this cage before you buy the real Bandai MS Cage, yes you should buy it. If you want the scene like in the anime, no don't buy it. If you want to used for MG that have lot's of weapon, no don't buy it.
